I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled and surprised I was at the birth of a baby daughter. As you can see, both parents are already enamored.
Here is Randi cradled in the strong, protective arm of her father, Rafe.
Rafe is a doting father, just like he was with Nic. He loves bathing, feeding, and tucking in Randi.
As you can see she has inherited her father's coloring although she does not have the telltale birthmark so will likely inherit her mother's body shape. Randi seems to have her father's full mouth. I hope she retains that when she gets older.
Miranda pretty much has Rafe wrapped around her pinky already.
One of my absolute favorite shots. He is a proud father for sure.
Although her eyes are the same color as her mother, I think Randi will grow up to look a lot like her handsome dad. She seems to have that smile anyway.
And what was Nicky doing while his baby sister was being doted on?
Catching fireflies of course!

Thank you...I was shocked as well. I never expected a girl although I hoped...I squealed with delight when she was born. Although I would not have been disappointed with another son...
ReplyDeleteYes, Rafe's expression. Nic seems to be constantly oblivious to the fact that his mother is not keen on bugs, especially in the dining room. I think Rafe was considering damage control at that point. Although he was inwardly proud of his son for catching so many.
Poor Nic...yes he needs a young lady who can appreciate fireflies and butterflies...
I think that will probably happen. fireflies and butterflies and other bugs oh my..

There was never a question regarding the name. It was chosen ever since they expected their first child. With two passionate parents, she will no doubt be a tempest.

Thank you Sandy! She is precious and her father adores her beyond words. The one thing that means the most to Rafe is his family. And he is a doting but strict father. It will be interesting to see him react when she gets a little older.

The shots of Rafe with Miranda were so sweet! Another daddy's girl. We have 3 so far! Rayne, Miranda and Cadence and all of them have older brothers!
loved the pics so much, you just keep getting better and better Gayl :). inspiring. OH and like Beth said, I loved Rafe's expression in the last photo, "WTH" definitely says it all lol.
She is so beautiful! I am always fascinated to see what kind of babies some sims will have together and for such different looking sims, Rafe & Gayl certainly have some beautiful kids! For Coop & Beth too, Rainie is adorable.

ReplyDeleteI am always surprised when the babies are born. They never quite take the characteristics I expect but then I have learned early on not to question it in some case. Nic is already showing a great deal of personality and I expect Randi will do the same when she gets older. I really can't wait to see how they turn out!

LOL somehow I don't think he'll use a stick. His laser glare will probably scare them off immediately.
