Ten Things about Hugs Stanfield

1. Hugs’ real name is Harmony Gayl Stanfield. Somehow her father started calling her Hugs when she was just a toddler then everybody else called her Hugs.
2. Hugs loves her stuffed rabbit, Bunny. Bunny still sits on a chair in the corner of her room and provides comfort when she needs it.
3. Hugs’ best friend Autumn Taylor has been a protector as well as a confident and friend. Autumn punched Jay Mitchell when they were about 9 years old after Jay kept teasing Hugs about her name. Hugs doesn’t think that’s necessary anymore.
4. Hugs has been taking ballet lessons since she was a toddler. She’s talented, motivated, and practices relentlessly.
5. Her father taught her to play a guitar. She enjoys playing simple songs at beach camp outs but isn’t interested in becoming a musician.
6. Her brothers played with her and ignored her in turns when she was growing up. Hugs has learned not to take them seriously. She loves her older sister Rayne who does her hair for her.
7. She is very shy and tries hard to avoid groups. When Bonni Savage routinely drove a group of kids to the movies Hugs was uncomfortable and sometimes turned down the opportunity to go.
8. She has been friends with Garrett all her life and knows that her feelings for him are changing. A girl in their group flirted with Garrett, something that bothered Hugs a lot. She fantasizes about going out with him and what it would be like to actually be Garrett’s girlfriend.
9. Hugs rescues animals. All of them.
10. She likes beautiful clothes and would love to wear something long and lacey to a formal party.
